D-TAL is an Australian based and owned civil engineering consultancy specialising in road and highway design, temporary traffic management and road safety. The Opportunity 

Due to a strong pipeline of transport infrastructure projects, D-TAL requires the services of a motivated, high performing Civil Engineering Graduate to work within and continue to grow our expanding road design team. The full-time role is within an industry leading road design team, a rare opportunity to learn from some of Australia’s most proficient and respected road designers. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Prepare technical engineering design drawings for roads and highway transportation projects, using AutoCAD. 

Our ideal candidate 

  • Minimum 5 years civil drafting work experience working on road and transport infrastructure projects. 
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Scripts  
  • Proficient in AutoCAD lisps 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and purposefully with direct manager and wider D-TAL team. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive and PowerPoint. 
  • Clear understanding and demonstrated ability to apply TfNSW CAD manual standards. 
  • Proficient in ProjectWise (preferred). 
  • Strong ability to read, analyse and interpret engineering drawings such as plans, details and ability to communicate design intent concisely. 
  • Initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Motivated and driven individual
